==> RE: 64-bit compatible?
We have now converted to 64-bit Oracle 10g database. We have a bank of reports that use the YEAR(date) function. These reports will not open linking to the new database. I started to rebuild one of the reports and when I went to create a calculated field using the YEAR function, it hangs when I clic...

64-bit compatible?
We will soon be upgrading to a 64-bit Oracle server. We currently use R&R v10+ SQL Edition using the 32-bit ODBC driver. Will this version of R&R be compatible with the new 64-bit server?

===> RE: Calculated Fields Disappearing!
No, if I don^t modify the SQL statement, the message about removing fields does not appear. The fields that disappear after the SQL is modified are total fields based on calculated fields. Here^s an example. Total field is clmmedpay: sum(pay_med(), claim_number, every, running). The calculated field...

Calculated Fields Disappearing!
I^m opening a user SQL report created in R&R v10.1.003 to add a new field to the SQL statement. When I click OK to the modified query, I get the message that over 30 calculated fields are going to be removed if I continue. I cancel and they remove anyway. I closed the report without saving then ...

==> RE: Missing Buttons in Save Prompt
Yes, I do have a dual monitor setup. Didn^t even consider that could be the issue. I did a test and opened R&R in my primary monitor and when I closed a report without saving first, I was prompted with the buttons. Then I opened the same report on my secondary monitor and when I closed without s...

Missing Buttons in Save Prompt
Twice I^ve had the buttons in the save prompt disappear when I modify something within a report then attempt to exit without saving. The prompt to save changes does not display any buttons forcing me to save the changes or end task in Windows. When this happened today, it was immediately after an au...

Passing parameter to Rapid Runner
I^ve set up a calculated field - AsOfParam - in my report: __CTOD(RIPARAM("As Of Date")) and added it to the report filter: Table.effective_date <= AsOfParam____Then I added this report to a Rapid Runner report set. I have a parameter set up called As Of Date and set a default parameter va...

====> RE: ParameterRR in filter
The as of date wasn^t appearing in the "compared to" field list in the filter. I changed the first date field after "and/or" to a calculated date field instead of using the table field directly and then the as of date appeared in the compared to field list. That works now. __Than...
