Have you tried to use the lbackground parameter of runshell in Xbase++. I have not tried this so I don^t know if it has any effect.____Cliff.

I know embedded fields are available for memo fields, from test files and also from dbf fields. This includes the ability to set fonts.____However, is similar formatting available if the field is simply a character fields instead of of memo field.
