=> RE: Ver 9.0 Very slow to open in XP

I am having a similar issue but can^t seem to find any answers.__When I just try to open the application it takes 12-15 seconds to load. Sometimes, if another session is up and running, the next session open immediately. When running hundreds of reports in a day this is a serious time issue.

RRW loads slowly

For no apparent reason RRW (Xbase) loads very slowly. 10-15 seconds when opening. If session already open and report running RRW opens and starts execution quickly. Someone suggested my computer is not on same segment (tracert to server.ip shows jump) as server hosting RRW. Any suggestions?

Param-Runtime

I created a report for a customer that needed to parameter field as he uses the runtime.exe Everything works fine here, but when I send him the report, he does not get the screen for input. I guess that he needs another file, but I am not sure what to send him.

==> Runtime error if user is not Admin

I renamed the cdintf.dll to cdintf_old.dll and I no longer get the error, but it does not create a pdf. Anything else I can do?

How to detect ???

I have a set of devices that are issued to everyone. The devices are in an order and I want to be able to detect if I have a device available for use. I need a function similar to what would be used in a "Missing Check" type program. Any ideas????
