==> RE: Future of R&R ?
Katherine,____I too have been a user of R&R since 1990 (V4 DOS). In those days R&R and Crystal were on a par - I am afraid that you can not say that today. R&R has simply not had the development effort over the past 10 years (I blame Wall Data). ____The SQL product is slow, unreliable an...

Exporting to Xbase using RSWRUN
I am trying to work out how to run a batch of reports that are designed to export a particular band line in Xbase format. I read in a help document for the RRWRUN (Xbase version) that you need to put in a value of "X" in ri_printer field. I tried this but only managed to get blank files to...

Sorry should have said 10+ and we are on version 10.1.003 although I though the same problem existed on 10.0 (probably verion 10.0.012 when we last used that)____Simon Bray.

=====> RE: Export to Worksheet
For "enhancement" do we read "next version" ? Why can^t bugs be fixed in R&R anymore without buying the next version ? And please don^t tell me that Liveware Publishing are a small company that don^t have the resources to do this - either you are competing with your competito...

Date Query in R&R 10
The change implemented in R&R V10 for date queries does not work outside of the US. It will consistently believe that the date format is invalid if entered in European format (even though the PC you are running on is set to European date format). If you type in the date to be in US date format i...

I assume that you have tried reducing the left/right/top/bottom margins to zero before you export ?____Simon Bray.

LiveWare Policy on bug fixes
What is LiveWare Publishing^s position on providing bug fixes to versions other than the latest version. There are a few bugs arising from using R&R with Windows XP and as far as I can see only version 10+ will be getting any bug fixes. Seeing as how I have a mixed environment of R&R 9 and R...

Kathleen,____I believe I have found the problem but can^t say that I understand it ?____In my report I have a query which is :-____Where po_num is like PO_Query____po_num is calculated field left(pr_orderno,7) where pr_orderno is in my master table and can be 7 or 9 characters but related records al...

SQL Joins with Blank records
Kathleen,____Sorry to keep going on about this but I am still finding no way of resolving this issue and it is making R&R almost unuseable.____In XBase Version I am able to join Master Table A to related table B and then for any records that are returned from table B I want to join to table C us...
