I had a similar challenge (if I understand you correctly). I converted the PDF to an image, then used the image as a background in an R&R report. From there I added my fields on top of the image. Then all I had to do was print the report to PDF, thus converting it back to PDF with my report data...

I have the mysql odbc 3.51.12 driver, and there is very clearly a place to enter a username/password/database in the configuration. User/pass is something established through the odbc driver, not R&R. I don^t use R&R on mysql, but I would definitely re-check the odbc connector.

Yes! Yes! YES!____I must have installed the new version of R&R without uninstalling the old version. The .RRW files were associated with version 11 while the .RRS files were still associated with version 8.1!! You^re brilliant, thanks (yet again) for your help!____Mike N.

In both cases the report is called from an .RRS file. Both workstations, the good one AND the bad one :), had R&R installed the same way... typical install with the 11.1.008 update applied.____thanks
