Cannot Open Picture File: Blank.bmp

Placing a jpg photo on a report works perfectly on my development computer. However, I receive the above error message when installing and using my app on a test computer.____I set the following in the RRW.ini____ImgDir=<mypath>__ImgExt=jpg____Any ideas?____Jeff

Yes. The report runs fine when I use either rsw.exe or rswrun.exe.____If I use the latter I must manually select the Access Database. If I use rsw.exe then I don^t have to select the Access Database.____Might RSWSQL.ini be the source of the problem?__

If the datasource has been set up to point to the MDB file, you should not need to select it when you run the report using rswrun.exe.____I just tried two test reports using access data sources and as long as the mdb was selected when the data source was configured in the ODBC manager, it works fine...

We discovered also that adding PDFDRIVER=0 will speed up the reports. However, we also found that an external PDF generator is needed, like PDF Factory.____We have found that the built-in PDF feature in ReportWorks are not worth the trouble.__

Suggestion - RRW.ini

The R&R manual states that the RRW.ini file should be placed into the Windows folder when distributing R&R to customer computers.____However, this can cause conficts for developers and others who use 2 or more applications that use R&R. Each application will place its own version of rrw....

We resolved this issue.____This computer contained v9x of the RRW32.ocx and RRW32.dll files rather than the v10.1. Where the v9x came from we do not know as we have only used v8.1 and 11.00 versions of R&R.____

No. Installing from our own CD using InstallShield Express. ____We cannot manually register RRW32.ocx either.____Are special files needed for Win XP Pro computers?
