My company just upgraded to Office 2007 and now my Pivot Table exports don^t work in the new version of Excel. The imported data are garbage characters and the Pivot Table scripting doesn^t kick in. Do I need to do something to Excel or do I need to get a new version of R&R?

Figured it out; Office 2003 SP3 had been auto-downloaded & installed, and it contains updates to the registry that block some file types from access by Excel. Thanks a lot Microsoft. They do however provide a reg editing file to unblock - get it from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938810

I^m using RR ver 10, and have been reliably generating pivot tables for years. All of a sudden, the export fails with "You are attempting to open a file type that is blocked by your registry policy setting"____I see one other reference to this failure in the archives but no resolution. Ack!
