Arpeggio Error
Hi Kathleen,____I think I asked you about this before and I promise that this time I will save your answer more carefully.____I have an older program that used the Arpeggio 2.0 Runtime. A very few users get an error that says "Improper License Rights. Access to Report Viewer Denied." There...

Weird Character
Hi Kathleen et al,____I have several text file attached reports that sometimes, but not always, convert an apostrophe to a Æ (attached A and E like in CAESER or CÆSER). The same character sometimes is fine and in other places in the text gets weird.____Any ideas?____Thanks,__~Alan Klein

====> RE: Columnar Report
Kathleen,____Thanks...your export idea worked great! I modified it in that I did only the first export and then, using the exported dbf file, created a report with eight recursive fields - one for each group - that added a line feed [chr(10)] and the person^s name to itself, if that person qualified...

Columnar Report
Hi all,____I have a report that groups names into eight groups. It is, of course, easy to see those groups vertically down the page. I can also use the Record Layout section to make two columns WITHIN a group so that Group one is at the top in two columns, followed by Group 2 in two columns, etc.___...

=====> RE: ^Line^ as a Calculated Field ??
Place the graphical line on a report line where you want it. Click on the "Auto/Freeform Line" button. You can then adjust the height of the line as you wish using the margin controls that you will see appear.____Apply the logical line printing condition (as someone else suggested above) t...

You can hit F7 and then hold down ALT and use the arrows to microspace the movement of the line, but not to shorten or elongate it. ____I don^t recall anything that used the keyboard to change the length. I hope Kathleen comes up with it. If anyone knows it would be her!

Thanks, Kathleen. As I said, however, I do not have access to her machine. This is a Visual Basic application that uses the R&R Custom Control and we have for years just bundled the dll and other files into the installation. We have hundreds of users around the world who are having no problem. _...

rsw.ocx error
I have a user who is encountering an error stating that rsw.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered. I don^t have direct access to her machine. What should I be looking at and leading her through to find a solution here? I tried having her directly register the rsw.ocx file and th...
