Try right trimming the field first. You^re probably just getting the blanks that pad the dbase field.____Hope that does it.__-Pat-

After first updating to XP I had this happening. The problem went away after applying all of the latest Windows Updates from the Microsoft Website. If you have not done this, I^d give it a try.__-Pat-

Mike,____Are you renaming the printer from the installed name to "Printer". It could be that there is some kind of reserve word problem there.____We probably have 20,000 runtimes installed running V9.009 stand alone and on networks and use the DEFAULT for the printer, letting Windows do th...

It^s on the R&R Installation directory. You add udf^s from inside of R&R under the Calculations | User Functions.____I^m not sure if there is actually an rr.udf delivered. It may be that you have to add a udf before the file is created. (Been using udf^s for several years, so can^t remember ...

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Feb-26-03 AT 03:58 AM (EST)]I make it a practice not to mess with temp files. I like to just let windows handle that. I figure that if temp files work, let them work. :-)____It does allow file transfer. I use windows explorer and just copy and paste from TS network to lo...

Be sure that you installed R&R by using add/remove programs from the control panel. If you install software on the server just by putting in the CD and running setup, it will not run right on TS.____I^ve tried very long reports on TS and they display just fine in V9.008 runtime. Just ran a 481 p...

What I do is put 2 graphs in a header level of a report. You could also put them in a group footer.____A bar graph on the left and the pie graph on the right. The bar graph will have the labels to it^s right, between the two graphs, so the two can share the labels :-) Doing this presents 2 graphs an...

===> RE: Front End for R&R?
We have a front end written in VFP, but only for our application. You can combine the "?" in RI_Query mentioned above with a customized data dictionary that shows the field descriptions and have a nice query by example type of system. Otherwise, you need to write your own front end in one ...

Try changing the printer stored in the report. I had the same problem and it had to do with the printer driver. In my case, the particular report was referencing a printer not connected to my system. I changed the printer and the report saved fine. If I changed it back, I had the problem you describ...
