Calculated field expression bug?
I have come across something that I consider to be a bug and wonder if you could confirm this. It invloves a calculated field expression that contains a logical expression and an numerical comparison. e.g. FIELD1=True AND FIELD2<>0____R&R doesn^t always evaulate this correctly. To get it to work...

Printing records across the page
I have someone who wants to do a report where, for a certain group they want all the records to print across the page, instead of each record being on a seperate line. This is so they can export the report to Excel. Is there any way of doing this?____I would appreciate any help you could give.____Ed...

What do you mean by duplicates excatly? Are you using scan type lookups? It sounds like you are. If so, I may be able to help. Maybe if you email your report it would be helpful. When debugging a report you need as much info as you can get!____Thanks.____Eddie Marshall__Technical Support Manager__La...

Could this be that we are delaing with a server installtion of R&R where they haven^t run a workstation install? If this is the case, (you will know if you don^t have an R&R program group in your Start menu) run the SETUP.EXE from the directory where R&R is installed.____Eddie

My understanding is that is an issue if you do not have network permission to add/remove printers. So if you have this permission you won^t get the error.

Exporting Dates to Excel
I am exporting to Excel using Version 8 of R&R. My data contains date fields, some of which are blank. When I export these blank dates to Excel, it interprets them as 00/01/1900 (UK format). Does anyone have a workaround to ensure that these blank dates are actually shown as blank in Excel.____T...

Eddie, ____I do something like this, except I generate the reports to a folder and use Visual dBase to create the email into outlook on a non-scheduled basis, ie on the fly. Doing it this way, I am able to send specific reports to specific users, not everyone gets everything.____So, for you to sched...
