Three issues - we^re on 10+ 10.1.003____1. How is Rrw.ini file set up (in c:winnt)? We discovered that the line of "Dictionary = 0" controls use of Data Dictionary. Commenting this out (using text editor) allows Data Dict. Without this, Options/Preferences - Field Lists has no effect.__Is only method to modify by use of text editor?____2. With Dictionary flag set to 1, if the 9 dict* files are not in the RL folder, we get message:____Error opening report dictionary file. Verify that your Options File Settings Report Dictionary settings are correct.____Opening Options File Settings has specifications for Data:, Report:, Image: and Template:, but nothing for Report Dictionary.__Are we missing something?____3. Do the 9 dict* files have to be in the RL folder, or can they be placed in another folder?____Thanks.

Editing the dictionary line in the INI can only be done with a text editor rather than from within the Report Designer.____The dictionary files do need to reside in the RL folder.______Kathleen__R&R Support
