Turn text about 90 degrees

is it possible to turn a text field about 90 degrees from horizontal to a vertical position? And, if yes, how? I´m using Version 9.____Thanks in advance__Klaus

Klaus, I have several reports that I^ve turned the text 90 degrees. The trick is not to actually "turn" the text field itself, but to use a font that is turned 90 degrees. Then, extract each character from the string of the field and place them on your report where you want them stacked vertically. After some experimentation, you will be able to get the spacing the way you want it. The other thing I had to do was to create the font I needed using a font creator program. I had to turn each of the characters 90 degrees and save the font. This may not work for your application, but it has worked very well for mine. Hopefully, R&R will release a new feature that will allow for the turning of the fields on the report layout.
