RR Print Preview Crashes

Post by Brian_Bunting_(Guest) » Thu Jul 06, 2006 3:48 pm

When using print preview to view a new report, the text often becomes slanted/upside down/shifted and then Report Writer will often crash.____Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone know of a fix?____Thank you in advance,____Brian

Which version of R&R? What you are seeing is generally a memory problem.____Kathleen__R&R Support

We are running R&R version 11.____I don^t think it is a memory problem. We experience this problem on multiple machines that vary from 256 ram all the way up to my machine which has 2GB.____Any other ideas?____Thanks :)____-Brian

What printer are you using? Have you tried adding the line PDFDRIVER=0 to the DEFAULTS section of c:windows rw.ini?____Kathleen __R&R Support

I^ve seen it happen once in a while switching amoung multiple windows (I have no idea why). I just exit the Print Preview and re-run and if it crashes just restart R&R. I am running Version 11.____Carl

I have this same issue as well. Using RR11 Xbase. When I preview a report in R&R, if I zoom in then out then back in, the report text gets all slanty or is upside down. ____Not a big deal but sort of strange.____Jill
