Compatibility with Operating System

I have used R&R for five years now, its the best solution to producing reports. Am trying to run R&R ver 8 with an accounting software in a PC running windows 2000, i cannot access any of the reports. But the same story is in Windows 95 and XP, they are working okay, does compatibility matter in R&R. Please assist.__
