Arpeggio Error

Post by Alan_Klein » Tue Aug 08, 2006 3:50 pm

Hi Kathleen,____I think I asked you about this before and I promise that this time I will save your answer more carefully.____I have an older program that used the Arpeggio 2.0 Runtime. A very few users get an error that says "Improper License Rights. Access to Report Viewer Denied." There seems to be no reason for why they get it and most others do not. I think you suggested a fix for me and would VERY much appreciate hearing it again!____BTW, the particular user for whom I am writing doe snot have a C: drive. His main drive is drive E:.____Thanks so much for digging into your memory banks for this fix. (As I recall it had something to do with the WallData folder.)

The viewer needs the file ALO.DLL to be installed along with a registry key to locate it.____The key is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareWallDataOffice and is the SystemDir entry.____This entry needs to point to the folder location of ALO.DLL______Kathleen__R&R Support

Thank you! Thank you! I will save it in a safe place so that I can refresh my memory after I forget it the next time!____Also, I have another Arpeggio 2.0 user who is getting a Viewer Error 193. I saw you had told another person on this forum who had a Viewer Error 2 to make sure that ProgDir32 in the rsw.ini file was pointed to the correct folder. Hers is. Is there something else I should try?
