R&R V9 ParameteRR field

Post by joemck » Tue Sep 26, 2006 1:57 pm

Hello all. Using R&R Version 9, I am having some trouble with a simple ParametRR field used in a report on an SQL database. It runs fine the first time, with the parameter entered pulling the correct data. When I run the reports a second time, changing the parameter, the report produces data from the previous parameter input. When I go back into design mode, pull the edit dialog box up on the parameter, and close it - changing nothing, the report works again.____To get it to act as designed, I have to go into design mode, pull up the edit dialog on the parameteRR, close it, and run the report.____Has anyone else experienced this with Version 9 ParameteRR?____Thanks for any help offered.

Download the 9.0.009 update from our website (http://www.livewarepub.com/download.htm) and see if it helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support____

Kathleen,____Thank you for the update. After laoding the update, the behavior is the same with the parameteRR field. After accepting a new value at prompt when running the report, the results are the previously run value. We have to go into design, click on the ParameteRR field, go into edit...without changing anything. After doing so, running the report will then give the desired parameteRR value. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.____thank you
