Export to file
Hi__I am experiencing some problems with exporting to file. Within rr infinity, when I export to worksheet it seems to work, but excel won^t open it - claims it is an unrecognized format. I can export to csv.____I want to call the reports from within a .NET program and give the user the option of whether to export to xls, csv or txt. What is the best way to achieve this? I am calling reports using parameters saved in a sql table, but choosing filenames and locations is proving more difficult.____Thanks

Your app would need to collect the filetype and name and then populate the sql control table.____If you update to the latest 12.5 release, you will be able to export to an XLS without a problem.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi__Where do I find the upgrade to 12.5?__In the downloads area it just has an update of 2 files and says: "You only need to download the files contained in this patch if you are using 12.5.000 with a release date of 10/07/2008 or earlier." ____I have 12.0.001!__Thanks

Just seen the update on the home page. It would be good to have a link on the downloads page as well for those who have bookmarked other pages!

Hi____To upgrade from 12.0 to 12.5, what files need to be updated on the computers which just have the runtime option?____Thanks____Jackie

You can use the 12.5 installer and select viewer only as your install type to install only the runtime files.____Kathleen__R&R Support
