Conditional Formatting

Post by Vincent_(Guest) » Fri Mar 02, 2007 7:59 am

I have a question concerning conditional formatting. My report needs to identify Quartiles. If the line item of the report falls into the Top 25 I need to change the background for the Report line to Green. If the line item fall into the bottom 25 I need to change the background to red. All other line itmes do not require formatting.____I have been trying to set the logical field for the band line properties but its not doing what I thought it was going to.____Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

You would need three band lines, one with a green box and one with a red box and one with no box at all. Then you would need 3 mutually exclusive calculated fields based on the ranking field. My guess is that it is the ranking that is causing the problem for you. I have a small sample report that I can send you that has a set of totals and calcs to produce this kind of report. Send me an email and I will send the sample report along to you.____Kathleen__R&R Support__livesupport@livewarepub.com____
