Data Dictionary in use error

Using version 12 in a Citrix environment, users are receiving the following error when they try to run certain reports:____Data dictionary file DICTTABL.DBF is locked by another user.__Try again later.____The user is then able to run the report without issue, but the message consistently comes up when they makes changes to the scope of a report and then click OK. That is the point where it pops the error. It is a bit of a nuisance.____I verified that the Default Settings have the check box checked allowing other users to update tables while the file is in use. Also, it seemed to be mitigated by changing to another index tag, but not eliminated.

Add the line____DICTIONARY=0____to the DEFAULTS section of c:windows rw.ini and this problem will no longer be present.____Kathleen__R&R Support
