FlexLink problems through Shortcuts

We have several reports utilizing the FlexLink feature that are accessed by end users through shortcuts created with the R&R shortcut maker utility. ____We have been experiencing intermittent errors stating <<filename>>.idx does not exist or is in use.____The strange thing is that while this often occurs inconsistently when running the reports through shortcuts, it never occurs when running the same report through the R&R front end directly.____Do other users have input on this problem?

Does it always occur on a particular report and does it consistently occur for all reports that use flexlink?____Kathleen__R&R Support

It has happened over several report with Flex Links; also the reports link to several different Flex Link tables / indexes.

Is there more than one copy of RRWRUN.EXE on the machine? Maybe an older version that did not support flexlink?____Kathleen__R&R Support
