Spontaneous closing when printing

We have an intermittent problem with reports closing upon executing a print or export function. This happens through the front-end or while using shortcuts.____One user will experience the problem, and within seconds, a co-worker will run the report successfully. Or the same user will be able to run the report successfully later in the day.____We do have five servers in a Citrix farm, but the pattern is inconsistent across the servers; i.e. two users on the same server will have different results; or two users on different servers will both have the spontaneous closing problem.____When the program closes in this manner, the report does NOT default as the "last used" report in the open dialog window or show in the "last 9" reports used under the file menu.

It must be something in the environment that is causing this to occur but I cannot think of a good method to troubleshoot this one I am afraid....______Kathleen__R&R Support

You are not alone in having RR close when printing. I have had the same issue for quite awhile without being able to identify what the potential cause is.

Are you in a Citrix environment? If not, what type of network setup do you have?

I too have reported this problem happens intermittently in the Runtime, giving a windows memory error when the user choose to Print a Page or Report with the Viewer running.____This has happened in a variety of environments under both RRWRUN.EXE version 8.1 and Infinity Version 12 (the latest), with the latter introducing the error more frequently.____It would really be nice to have the problem formally acknowledged.
