Parameter field and Report Viewer

Dear Kathleen,____I have created parameter field in report designer. It^s prompt when I run the report. But when I run in report viewer, it^s disappear.____Anything I miss. Thanks in advance.____Toto

Do you have the field somewhere on the report layout? Runtime may think that the field is not used in the report so it is not prompting you.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen,____I have encountered the same problem and my other parameter field is not visible from report layout. I used that parameter field in my band line conditional properties. Any workaround?____Thanks,__Mario__

Add the field as a group field in the report or place it on the layout somewhere past the right margin so it is used but not visible.____This should force runtime to evaluate it as a used field so that it prompts you for a value.____Kathleen__R&R Support
