rswrun.exe crashing 2003 server

We are running rswrun.exe as part of a vendor-provided application, version 923.0.0.0 - 1997 Concentric Data Systems, Inc.____It is currently working on an old Windows2003 server with all Microsoft security patches applied but on a new Windows2003 SP1 R2 box it is periodically crashing the server - caused by > 1000 unterminated processes of rswrun.exe.____There are no other applications running on the server. Can anyone please assist?__
