exporting to excel 2007

Post by Mark_(Guest) » Mon Dec 17, 2007 2:04 pm

excel 2007 will not recognise the wks format, we are using version 10. does version 12 export to xls format or still wks? i know that data can be exported to text/csv and them imported that way but straight to excel would be better.__~M

In V12 it is still internally a WKS rather than a true XLS. A CSV should open in Excel as easily as a XLS file.____Kathleen__R&R Support

This is a very time consuming process when you have tons of reports at many customers for many applications. Again I ask, When if Ever are you planning on supporting this?

i^ve got to agree here, it does not come across great when i have to tell customers that they have to export as csv and then open it that way, they want to know why it just doesn^t work
