Updating old XBASE report

I have an XBASE report created with ver 8.1. I am now using Version 12. It opens and edits and saves fine. I no longer have 8.1 installed on my PC, but I still have the program if I need it. My question is, if I modify the .rrw file with version 12, will the runtime version of 8.1 still be able to use it?____thanks__Fred
