MOMv6 and RR

Post by SEOexcen » Thu Feb 05, 2009 3:07 pm

I have MOM ver6.1 and RR ver12.5. I am trying to create a report but when I go to insert a field, it is clear the data types are not correct. For example, ORDERNO, ITEM, and DESC1 are all showing as logic fields. If I access the table directly through DBUWIN, it is clear that ORDERNO is a number field, ITEM should be character, as well as DESC1. What is going on? How do I fix this? I need to create these reports ASAP.____Thanks for any help.__Shane____

I have never seen this problem before. Have you tried re-booting the machine to see if it makes any difference?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I have rebooted the machine and it is still showing the same issue. I am running vista but I have installed RR 12.5 if that makes a difference. ____shane____

Are you selecting tables via the DBC or directly as DBF files?____Kathleen__R&R Support

DBC. I point to the container file (MOMDATA.DBC) then wait for the window to popup that allows me to select the the ITEMS table. At first I thought it had something to do with the relationship I setup so I created a new report which used ITEMS as the master table - no relationships. My time on this is running out. Is there anything I can try?____Shane____
