Desired sort field not shown

Trying to sort by a calculated field but it is not shown in the sort field dialog box. How can I make it an available sort field?____Thank you

Nevermind, I figured it out. The calculated field contained another calculated field that used a total field. I just had to make the total field a preprocessed field.
