printing labels

Post by NF_(Guest) » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:30 pm

Is there any way to indicate a "start" position for labels so I can continue printing on partially used sheets?

There is not a direct way to do it. What I do in this case is to create a calculated field and use that calculated field in Format Record Layout as the record copies field.____So if my labels are 2 across and I want to start the first label on the 3rd row down, my calculation would be:__ __IIF(RECNO()=1,5,1)____So I would be printing 5 copies of the first record followed by 1 of each of the rest.____The first 4 copies print on the missing label locations and the 5th one prints on the first actual label.______Kathleen__R&R Support
