Printing Sequence Inconsistent

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Dec-14-01 AT 02:50 PM (EST)]I was trying to print a list of Customers by using User Defined settings and ran into this little anomaly. If the date range I set in the rrs was lets say from 12/1/2001 thru 12/14/2001, the customers info would print correctly 2 to a page every page, however, If I expanded the date range to 1/1/2001 thru 12/14/2001, the report would print 2 names to a page for the 1st page then 1 name to a page thereafter, I tried again using the date range of 11/1/2001 thru 11/30/2001 to see if for some reason it needed to be within the same month range, altho, there should be no reason for that, again it printed 2 to 1st page then 1 thereafter, I reran the first date range from 12/1/2001 thru 12/14/2001, again it was perfect 2 to a page all the way through.____Any ideas why this would occur?____Thank you all and Happy Holidays!!!__

My guess is that it is something in the report design that is causing the problem. Do you have compress record/group lines checked in Format Record layout and do you have any fields formatted as word wrapped? Also do you have any lines that are controlled by a logical field or scan table? All of these could change the number of lines that would print for each record and thus could change pagination.__You should also check your group fields to see if any of the option boxes are checked.____Kathleen__R&R Support
