SQL Runtime crashes in Win2000
I have a customer using runtime SQL version 9.0.7 within my application. A typical report displays OK, but after closing the view display he gets error message:____"rswrun.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart program." Dr. Watson is called and a error log is generated.____Has anyone seen this problems and have a solution?____Thanks__Dan

Try renaming the file CDINTF.DLL in the R&R directory and see if that causes the crash to disappear.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I had the customer change the file name and the error went away. Isn^t this file associated with creating PDF output reports. How can the PDF be created without this file.____Should this file be located where the rswrun.exe file. Now it is loaded in the system folder.____dan

Correct me if I^m wrong but the crash happens when the user does not have permission to add or remove printers. So if you grant this permission the crash wouldn^t occur. There is more info on this in the FAQ^s under ^Online Resources^ on the website.____Eddie Marshall__Technical Support__LandMaster

Send me your email address and I will give you a newer RRW.EXE to see if it fixes the problem.____Kathleen__R&R Support__kfleming@livewarepub.com
