Printing Problems

Post by K_Gauthreaux_(Guest) » Mon Jan 28, 2002 4:53 pm

We have had problems printing in Arpeggio and the problems seem to have migrated to version 8.1 of R&R Report Writer. As a bit of background information, we are still using report libraries (*.rp6) for some of our reports. In Arpeggio we were required to save these reports in a Windows 95 environment. If we attempted to save the report in a Windows NT or 2000 environment, the report would print to the default printer of the person who saved the report rather than the default printer of the person running the report. The problem we have now is that we no longer have Windows 95 in our organization and we have recently modified these reports (using V8.1 or R&R). We cannot get the reports to print to the default printer of the person running the report. Has anyone else reported this problem before?

If you are using runtime you can set RI_PRINTER to DEFAULT to use the current default printer.____Is that what you are doing and it is not working correctly?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I meant to say set RI_WPTR to DEFAULT not RI_PRINTER in my last posting.____Kathleen__R&R Support
