I am trying to capture the network username for the person logged on.____I will be comparing the username to fields in the report to limit access to data.____Any idea on the function I would use to grab that username?____Thanks.____Paul

Try adding a column to the RRIN file, such as RI_USER and then put the user^s name in that field on calling the report. Then use RIPARAM function to get the data from the file.____Pat__
