Running R&R from an Intranet

Post by steve » Wed Feb 20, 2002 10:03 am

I am interested in making R&R reports available on my intranet. Has anyone done this? Do I need r&r installed on my webserver? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did it, done it, still doing it. Using RR to write reports to HTML file and then spitting them out to predetermined directory locations. You can then use a web server and call these up by IP address (or domain if you have it) ex: 15.15.15.15/report1.html or you can do this without a web server. ____Without a web server you simply store them in HTML or whatever format and then map a network drive to the server they are stored on and then call them up by browser ex: \myserverdrivedirectory eport.html and so on. It^s really your call and what you are trying to do and accomplish by it. ____Later, ____Michael McKenzie
