Exporting to a text file

We are trying to export data to a text file. There are a large number of fields on a Record band line. The columns in the text file need to be the same width at all times. We have increased the size of the fields on the report to the desired number of characters but when we export the size of fields is not reflected in the text file. Do we have to use a non-proportional font to export the full size of the field regardless of how many characters the data is?____Any help from you guys would be appreciated.____Eddie Marshall__Customer Support__LandMaster
