Export to Excel

Post by mike » Fri May 31, 2002 2:06 pm

I have a problem where when I export a report to Excel 2000 on a Windows 2000 machine with R&R SQL 9.0 it will export dates as character symbols even though when you do a print preview the dates look fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

One way around would be to use the DTOC() function in the report to send the dates as character strings.____You could also try adding the line:__CSVKeepDateFormats=1____to the Export section of C:windowsRRW.INI____Kathleen__R&R Support

I do not have an RRW.INI file. I do have a RSW.INI file and editing that does not do the trick. Need more help.
