Windows 2000

Post by Thomas_Freitas_(Guest) » Thu May 10, 2001 9:56 am

I have a user that just upgraded to Windows 2000 and now when he runs a report he gets a Windows Program Error. The error states: rrwrun.exe has generated errors and will be close by Windows. You will need to restart the program.____Any ideas or suggestions? Has anyone else received this problem.____Thanks in advance....

Was R&R installed by the same user account as the current login when the error occurs?__Does the current user have full permissions to the R&R directory?__Kathleen__R&R Support

Nothing has changed. It was working with Windows 98, then they upgraded to Windows 2000 and now it gives them that error. The distribution files are in a package that I created using Visual dBase. The Visual dBase program works just fine, it is only the R&R rrwrun.exe file that is giving them the error. I^m sure that it has something to do with their configuration somewhere, but I can not figure it out.____The software is running on a dual 450 with Windows 2000 Server__installed and it has 1GB of Ram. ______Thanks...

Do you have Service Patch 1 installed with WIN2K? I too am having problems with WIN2K and I think it may have something to do with SP1 but I can^t prove it yet.__Jim Taylor__
