Ver 2 and Win 2000 - Replace String

Post by Pam_C » Tue Jun 11, 2002 11:39 am

Currently, we are using version 2, but will be upgrading to R & R version 9.0. __In Windows 2000, when the user reaches the part of the code that sets the report control filename, i.e. xxxxx.Filename = *****.rsw, the program exits. This is happening periodically.____Is this a known problem in version 2 that has been resolved in version 9? Is there a workaround to prevent this from occurring?____Are you using Arpeggio 2.0 and calling runtime from an application program?____Also, what is the limit of the number of characters for the replace string? Due to this limit is there a workaround where we could send a Recordset to the report instead?____Thank you,____Pam______ __

This is not a known problem so upgrading to V9 may or may not make a difference.______Kathleen__R&R Support
