INVALID REPORT REVISION

Post by SIMON » Fri Jul 19, 2002 6:54 am

I opened up a RP1 library with the windows version (v9) and now get the above error message when trying to open any RP1 file with the DOS version (v6). Presumably some setting has been changed!!__Any ideas?__Thanks

My guess is that the library is irrevocably changed and there^s no going back. Had the same problem with Windows 6.5 over Windows 6.0 a few years back (and that was just a point revision !) - do you have any backup of the RP1 library ?____Simon.

Version 9 does not allow you to save a report back into an RP1 file and you should get an error if you try to do so.__I just opened up the RRSAMPLE.RP1 file that comes with DOS Version 6, in Version 9. I saved the Basic Columnar Report as an RRW file and was able to successfully still use DOS Version 6 without a problem.______Kathleen__R&R Support
