Printing on dot matrix printers...
I am printing a report on a Epson FX2170 printer. I would like to print using draft condensed font (witch is the faster one). Within the report I select the desired printer, what enables me to choose Draft 17cpi. I set the printer to draft condensed in its front pannel. __Although the result report is printed using this font, it is extremaly slow. I notice that the printer is always changing from font Roman to Draft condesed to everty caracter printed in the report (I can see this because this printer indicates the font it is using in the front pannel). __I tried to change the driver to another epson printer, but the results was the same.__I used to use RR6.0 for DOS, and it always printed very fast with this kind of printer and font. __Please, don^t tell me that this is due to windows driver.____Can someone help me with this?__
