V-10 and control files

I create my reports in version 8 because I can save them in a control file, RRWRUNIN.DBF and the .RP5, and then I run them with the version 9 runtime. Will I be able to do the same with version 10? If not, are there plans to re-instate the control file and have all the reports in a single file like the .RP5______Thanks
