If a recipient does not have Outlook, they receive a message with a .dat attachment that they can^t open.

Are you sending the mail from a machine whose default mail client is Outlook? IF so is your mail default to use HTML or plain text?____Kathleen__R&R Support

My e-mail is set at Rich Text format.____However, it is the attachment that is sent via bursting that becomes a DAT file if the recipient is not using Outlook. If the recipient has Outlook, they can receive the attachment with no problems.____I have tried sending it in plain text & it still ends up as a .DAT file if the recipient does not have Outlook.
