New ODBC connection

Post by Lorenm » Thu Nov 07, 2002 8:11 pm

Loren B. Meyer____I have two identical SQL Server 7.0 databases that I am writing reports against. The first, FastTrak2 contains real data while FastTrak3 contains test data. I have been developing reports using R&R SQL version 9 against FastTrak3 because it contains large amounts of data that I can use to test the reports. Now I am trying to connect the existing reports to FastTrak2. When I try to change the ODBC connection, all of fields, headers and calulated fields are lost ... the report is blank.____Can the Master table be changed from one database to another without loosing all of my work?

I am using R&R SQL version 9. I am in the process of upgrading to version 10.

I have solved the problem. I just changed the ODBC DSN connection to point to the first database.
