Bursting limited to Outlook

I still can only send burst messages with attachments to Outlook users. ____Other users get a .DAT file as their attachment, which they can^t open.

What happens if an outlook recipient forwards a message that contains the good output files to a user who does not have outlook. Is the attachment a bad DAT when it gets there?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Yes - I have looked this up on the web and think that this is a Microsoft MAPI limitation.
