PDF Printer troubles

Post by Ryan_Terry » Wed Jan 08, 2003 5:54 pm

I^ve read through all of the previous PDF posts, and I^ve followed the steps to verify all of the files are indeed on my machine, and they are in the right directory. My problem is that I cannot seem to get the printer to install. When I launch R&R I get the following in my event viewer:____"Printer Driver Amyuni PDF Converter 157 for Windows NT x86 Version-2 was added or updated. Files:- acpdf157.dll, pdfui157.dll, acfpdf.txt."____And then every time I quit R&R I get the following error:____"rrw.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.____An error log is being created."______I never see the R&R PDF Printer in the printers selection dialog box, and I am an admin on this machine. I am also running Win2k if it makes any difference.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jan-09-03 AT 08:33 AM (EST)]Do you have any other application on your machine that also uses the Amyuni printer driver? I do not think that we distribute the 157 level files with R&R but they may be present with another application and when R&R calls the Amyuni driver, these versions are invoked.____Check your machine and see if there are multiple copies of CDINTF.DLL.__If R&R is installed locally, it would put its installed copy in the R&R directory. Any ones found elsewhere would be part of another application.____Kathleen__R&R Support

PDFUI157 and ACPDF157.drv or dll is created when the full version of R&R is installed in Version 9. The drv is created in Win98 and the dll in Win2000.____What version of R&R are you running?____
