Memory could not be ^read^

Post by apettinotti_(Guest) » Tue Mar 04, 2003 1:33 pm

arpeggio v2 on windows XP____so, i saved a somewhat unusual combination of calculated/total fields in my report (see posting "Total field counting ^wrong^") and was able to print-preview it fine. when i tried to print the report, however, by choosing File->Print and sending it to the printer that was saved with the report, apreggio crashes with the "Memory could not be ^read^" error.____so i reboot my workstation and try again - same thing.____so i turn OFF my workstation and let it sit for 2 minutes and try again - same thing.____then i get curious and it turns out that the only combination that crashes arpeggio is File->Print and choosing the printer saved with the report. any other combination of printing works fine such as,____the Printer icon__Print Preview then click the Printer Icon__File->Print and choosing any OTHER printer besides the saved one____i tested on another user^s XP workstation and they can print any way whatsoever without any errors!____is there anything i can do about this???

Sometime certain printers can cause this kind of problem. Only workaround would be to use another printer.____Kathleen__R&R Support
