Print first line only

I want to print a report that shows me, by customer, the first invoice date. I can get it to print where it shows me all invoice dates but if I put the information in the footer so I can suppress record lines then it is giving me the last invoice date instead of the first.____Temporarily I exported the report to Excel & stripped the information that I needed, but there must be a way I can do this in Report Writer.____Anyone know how?____Thanks in advance,____LindaM

Put the information on a customer group header. If invoices are sorted by customer then date, then you will see the first invoice for each customer.____Kathleen__R&R Support
