printers disappearing from Printers folder

I^ve occassionally had problems printing over a network in Win98 to a Kyocera FS-7000 printer. When trying to print, the application hangs and needs to be killed. ____The printer seems to disappear from the Printers folder under Settings but after a reboot ... all is well again and the printer returns. This never occurred often but recently one machine is having the problem every few days.____Just wondering if this is a common problem and if anyone knows what to do about it.

Most of the printing from the machine in question is done through Word ^97 and R&R. It mainly crashes when running R&R but can happen in Word after a R&R report has been run. ____Cheers,__Kupps.
