Exporting to Excel

Post by Gene_Feather_(Guest) » Fri Aug 08, 2003 9:09 am

In R&R 8.1, I^m using a report to export to an Excel spread sheet. The resulting file has approximately 6,000 rows. When I bring the spread sheet up in Excel, it looks fine; however, when I save it, it only saves the first 2,048 rows. That number cannot be a coincidence. Is this a known problem?____I^ve managed to get around by first exporting the information as a Lotus-type file and then having Excel import that. That works, but I don^t want my users to have to go through that step.____Thanks.......Gene__gfeather@ufcw.org

Which export choice are you selecting?____You could alternatively export to Text Data CSV format and then read that file directly into Excel.____Kathleen__R&R Support
