default "gutter" spaces

Is there a default setting that causes a wide space(approx. 5 lines) between the record line and footer line when a report prints? I am using Version 10.__

Is the footer a page footer or a group footer? Do you have any blank lines on the report layout? In Format Record Layout, what is the record height set to?____Kathleen__R&R Support

It is a page footer, there are no blank lines in the report and the record height is set to 0. By the way, this is the same report that Linda Kay refers to with the error "insufficient memory for print/preview".
