multiscan report problems

I have several multiscan reports to build. I^m having a little difficulty. First, when using the band properties to set the scanning table property, I^m not allowed to access the property "Scan table".____Why?____

Your report must not have a multiple scan relationship.____This property is only available when a report contains relationship structure where a parent table has two directly scanned children. So that a field from A is used to link to scanned table B and a field from A is used to link to scanned table C.____Kathleen__R&R Support
